Existential Loops
Existential Loops.
I once belonged to a celestial body,
Until an explosion disposed of me
Into the space where all senses cease.
A fractured shard of obsidian who sails silently
Through absolute blackness.
I soar through zero gravity
Like a blind arrow towards a target,
Hoping that I will fall into orbit,
Or perhaps I have already fallen into an orbit,
And that with every rotation,
And by despondent gravitational force,
Am brought closer to the star
From which I was born.
